NBU introduced a commemorative coin in honor of the anniversary of the Parliamentary Library

National Bank of Ukraine puts into circulation commemorative coins “150 years of the National Parliamentary Library of Ukraine.” According to the NBU, the coin is devoted to the “all-Ukrainian book depository and research centers in the field of librarianship and bibliography founded in 1866 as a public library.”

Denomination Commemorative coins is 5 hryvnia. Coins can be purchased for 38 hryvnia.

The material which coins will be made of is nickel silver. On its obverse you can see the stylized image of the reading room of the library.

Let’s recall that last year the National Bank also issued a commemorative coin “400 years of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”.
